Ever stand in the kitchen wondering, “Did I give Buster his pill an hour ago, or was that yesterday?” The Sundown Mapper solves this instantly. Under each care button, a small badge shows “Last: 2h ago” or “Last: 15m ago.” You never have to guess again.

3. It “Thinks” Like a Vet

This isn’t just a list; the app is smart. It analyzes the patterns in the data you enter and gives you helpful, calming feedback in real-time:

• The “Basic Needs” Check: If your dog is agitated, the app checks if they haven’t had water or a potty break recently and gently reminds you to try that first.
• Sundown Detection: If your dog gets agitated specifically in the evening hours (5 PM – 5 AM), the app recognizes this pattern and identifies it as potential Sundowning.
• Success Monitoring: If you give medication and your dog falls asleep shortly after, the app changes its status to green, indicating that your care is working.

• Night Mode: Using your phone at 3 AM is hard on your eyes. We added a simple “Moon” button in the top-right corner. Tap it to turn the screen dark, making it gentle on your eyes in a dark room.
• No Login Required: You do not need to create an account or remember a password. The app works instantly.
• Privacy First: Your data is stored safely right on your own device. We don’t see it, and we don’t sell it.
• Backup & Restore: If you want to switch phones, you can go to “Settings” to save your data to a file and load it onto a new device.

Bonus: The Cognitive Assessment

Not sure if your dog has dementia? The app includes a built-in “Assess” tab. This is a standard veterinary quiz (DISHAA) that helps you score your dog’s cognitive health. You can take it once a month to track changes over time.
